Motor Carrier Requirements:

1. Must have a valid class “A” Commercial Drivers License.
2. Must be at least 25 years of age.
3. Have a minimum of two years verifiable, over-the-road experience within the last 5 years.
4. Must have an acceptable driving record without any drug or alcohol convictions within the previous five years.
5. Must have no felony convictions within the last 7 years.
6. Be able to pass all DOT exams (physical, drug screen, road and written tests).
7. Must abide by all company policies.
8. Must have a cell phone.
9. No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years.
10. Maintain the tractor's appearance at all times.
11. Driver trainees program.

Equipment Requirements:

1. Tractor for Line Haul not older than 2003.
2. Tractor for Local Division not older than 2002.
3. 3-axle with sleeper for Line Haul (sleeper optional for Local division).
4. Wheelbase of 250” maximum.
5. Stack height of at least 13’6.”
6. Sliding 5th wheel with a height of 47 ½” or less.
7. Maximum weight of 20,000 lb with full load of fuel.
8. Engine electronically governed to run no faster than 75 mph.
9. Tractor DOT BIT inspection every 90 days.
10. All tires 1st run original with less than 50% wear of the tread.
11. Chains (three full sets) for tractor (line haul only).
12. Required DOT Safety Equipment: fire extinguisher, three triangles, spare bulbs and fuses.
13. Padlock.
14. Right-side, fender mounted blindside mirror.

Insurance Requirements:

1. $1,000,000 liability.
2. $100,000 cargo (with refer breakdown).
3. $25,000 unidentified trailer.
4. Insurance company must be an admitted carrier in the state of California with no less than an “A-“ rating in the Best’s key rating guide.
